Job summary

Michaud Cooley Erickson (MCE) is seeking a Staff-level designer to advance mechanical/electrical design for building systems. You will work with the Project Manager and Lead Designer to develop plans from concept through construction documents.

The role emphasizes design accuracy, coordination with design partners, and adherence to codes, with hybrid work options and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s electrical degree or related field from an accredited university or college required.
• At least 2 years of related building systems design experience. Retail project experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic design calculations under supervision of PM/lead engineer.
• Produce floor plan layouts and equipment schedules; develop schematic diagrams and system distribution.
• Develop floor plans from schematic design to construction documents and maintain organized workspace.
