Job summary

Michaud Cooley Erickson (MCE) is seeking a Mechanical Staff Designer with a growth mindset to join our engineering team and collaborate closely with clients nationwide. The ideal candidate will design, review calculations, and develop project details with support from peers.

You will interact with project teams and help shape client solutions. Requirements include 2+ years of building systems design, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.
• At least 2 years of related building systems design experience.
• Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD; Microsoft Office Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine design calculations and sizes standard equipment.
• Follows design standards set by Project Manager and Lead Engineer.
• Develops project-specific details, schematics, and sketches.
• Assembles specifications and project information for submissions.
• Maintains QA/QC processes and documentation.
