Job summary

We seek a mechanical staff designer with a growth mindset who can design projects independently with peer support and build client relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited university or college.
• At least 2 years of related building systems design experience.
• Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine design calculations and sizes standard equipment.
• Follows design standards set by the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record.
• Develops project specific details, schematics, and sketches.
• Assembles specifications, including project specific information.
• Researches and presents equipment and design options to the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record.
• Ensures QA/QC process is followed and documented.
