Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience.
• At least 1 year of lead experience.
• Master's degree and at least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience.
• At least 1 year of lead experience.
• Alternatively, at least 8 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience with lead responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to align with International’s business objectives
• Lead strategic sourcing decisions and supplier selection for new product launches as well as current business for improved cost, quality, or delivery opportunities
• Analyze category spend to identify and develop savings opportunities using procurement levers including competitive bidding, global sourcing, negotiation, technology, supply chain/footprint optimization, target costing, etc.
• Research industry trends, global markets, benchmark data, and understand underlying cost drivers
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best overall total cost of ownership
• Execute legal agreements such as Comprehensive Supply Agreements and Development Agreements
• Build strong strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure product quality, on time delivery, and service meet or exceed expectations
