Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, seeks a Product Sales Specialist to provide product knowledge and application solutions for electrical distribution lines. You will support branches in Illinois and western Indiana, with preferred reporting from Rockford, IL or Evansville, IN.

Responsibilities include analyzing markets, forecasting sales, developing opportunities, and coordinating orders while maintaining customer satisfaction and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; preferred not required.
• 3–5 years of experience in Schneider Electric/Square D product sales including market analysis and sales forecasting.
• Possess a valid driver’s license & clean driving record.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, especially verbally.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays during the week.

Responsibilities

• Conducts market analysis to identify sales opportunities and key contacts.
• Completes sales calls, generates leads and prepares weekly expense reports.
• Prepares annual sales forecasts for assigned territory.
• Coordinates secured orders and follows up on quotations to ensure service.
• Reads schematics and blueprints to understand project scope and solutions.
• Attends product training and expands knowledge of core industrial products.
