Job summary

ABB in Houston is seeking a senior Application Sales Manager to develop and lead techno-commercial proposals for complex electrical infrastructure projects. You will prepare technical and commercial documents, determine costs, and guide pricing strategies for integrated solutions including MV/LV switchgear, e-houses, and automation buildings.

The role requires extensive bids and proposals experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and a track record in GTM strategy and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with bids and proposals on system integration offerings.
• 4+ years of technical and product knowledge in related field.
• Experience with MV/LV switchgear, power distribution, and e-house/modular substation design.
• Experience with contract and risk management, regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive techno-commercial proposals for complex electrical infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for electrical integration projects.
• Develop integrated solutions including MV/LV switchgear, capacitor banks, busduct, VSD, HVAC and e-houses.
• Support conceptual and preliminary design of electrical/automation buildings.
• Perform detailed cost estimation and pricing for equipment, building and integration costs.
