Job summary
ABB in Houston, TX, is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical authority for Protection & Controls and Power System Studies within our Automation Energy Industries division. You will guide protection philosophies, perform protection scheme design, and supervise a growing engineering team on projects up to 69 kV.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license required.
- 15+ years of power systems experience with deep Protection & Controls for MV/HV.
- Ability to lead and perform relay configuration and settings development.
Responsibilities
- Lead Protection & Controls engineering across multiple projects, defining protection philosophies and relay settings.
- Perform and review power system studies from standard analyses to advanced studies.
- Mentor engineers, review deliverables for technical accuracy and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support substation design and PMS integration.
