Job Summary
The Site Safety Representative will assist the Safety Director and Safety Managers in implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety within the company. This position will serve as a resource for safety and field personnel alike.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Perform skilled labor duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, programs, and laws.
• Implement and enforce the Tri-City Safety Policy.
• Assist with managing and inventorying safety equipment.
• Qualify and deliver safety and job skill training.
• Identify training needs.
• Communicate effectively to promote safety awareness.
• Maintain a safety presence in the field and build rapport with teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Address safety issues to maintain OSHA compliance.
• Maintain OSHA documentation, including SDS chemical lists.
• Identify hazardous conditions and practices.
• Coordinate with other contractors to prevent hazards.
• Investigate accidents and safety violations; develop procedures to prevent recurrence.
• Respond to OSHA inspections and stay onsite during inspections.
• Represent Tri-City externally.
• Attend safety meetings and update personnel.
• Assist HR with safety and workers' compensation investigations.

Required Education And Experience

• Knowledge of basic math for estimating costs.
• Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• 1-3 years of safety experience on job sites.
• 3-5 years of electrical construction experience.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Preferred Education And Experience

• Bilingual abilities.
• Ability to obtain JLA badging.
• Journeyman Electrical License.
• Experience as a safety or technical instructor.
• Safety Trained Supervisor in Construction (STSC) or similar.
