Job summary

ACS Manufacturing, LLC in Abbeville, SC seeks a Shop Department Supervisor-Electrical to lead the electrical production team. You will supervise wiring, panel building, conduit installation, and testing while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, managing inventory, and coordinating daily workloads. You will mentor staff, perform performance reviews, and ensure MES/ERP data integrity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year in a shop/production environment.
• Requires 3+ years of electrical experience in manufacturing.
• Familiar with electrical codes (NEC), PPE use and OSHA regulations.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Demonstrated leadership in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical work, including wiring, panel building, conduit installation, and testing.
• Ensure NEC compliance and company electrical specifications.
• Review schematics/blueprints to guide team execution.
• Monitor inventory and ensure availability of electrical materials/tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during production.
• Assist with planning and assigning daily workloads for all resources.
• Record resources under correct job numbers and operations.
• Set priorities, monitor progress, and resolve issues for on-time delivery.
• Log completed operations into MES and report personnel issues to management.
• Support shop manager with training and employee performance reviews.
• Interview candidates and provide position information to applicants.
