Job summary

Willard Cooling, Heating, Plumbing, and Electrical is hiring an Electrician to perform residential service and installation work. You’ll work independently and with a team, communicating clearly with customers to keep them informed and confident in the service provided.

Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with flexible start/end times; days include Friday through Sunday to accommodate peak demand. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, reconnect, and upgrade electrical systems and heating/AC equipment.
• Serve customers by analyzing work orders and addressing concerns.
• Maintain truck inventory and document work using iPad.
• Troubleshoot residential electrical issues and adhere to codes.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional recommendations.

Essential Job Functions

• Service, Install, reconnect, and upgrade electrical s ystems as well as heating and air conditioning equipment, a nd water heaters
• Serve c ustomer s by analyzing work orders, following a daily travel schedule, listening to c ustomer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems
• Maintain your truck inventory
• Troubleshoot & diagnose residential electrical issues
• Provide the best customer service possible to our c ustomer s
• Adhere to local and state codes
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
• Identify , repair, or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices, and various tool s

Required Qualifications

• 3 + years of experience of residential electrical work
• Journeyman License or able to obtain within 6 months
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean driving record
• Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language

Preferred Qualifications

• Service Titan experience
• Sales experience

Compensation & Hours

• Commission Pay based on experience
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
