Job summary

Island Airco in Eureka Springs, AR seeks an Electrician who combines electrical expertise with sales to deliver value-driven solutions, improve energy efficiency, and close opportunities for upgrades. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years electrical service experience.
• 1+ year selling directly to homeowners.
• Electrical license or able to obtain within 60 days.
• Strong sales, customer service and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Organizational and multitasking skills.
• Willing to work evenings and rotational weekends.
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• Clean driving record.
• Able to climb into attics and crawl spaces.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Service Titan experience preferred.

Who You Are

As an Electrician , you will play a key role in providing exceptional service while also identifying and recommending solutions that improve the performance and energy efficiency of our customers' systems. This is not your typical technician role— it's about offering value-driven solutions, ensuring customers’ systems run at peak performance, and closing sales that make sense for the customer’s needs.

You'll combine your Electrical expertise with sales techniques to identify opportunities for service upgrades, system replacements, and other solutions that enhance the overall customer experience. Your goal? To deliver excellent service while building long-lasting relationships and growing the business.

Essential Job Functions

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company protocols
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations and educate them on potential improvements, upgrades, or repairs that will benefit them in the long run
• Identify and present electrical products and service recommendations based on customer needs and system analysis. Close sales for system upgrades, new equipment installations, and preventative maintenance plans.
• Establish rapport and trust with customers by offering tailored solutions, handling objections with professionalism, and providing clear, honest advice.
• Generate new business opportunities through customer referrals, follow-ups, and actively seeking potential service or upgrade opportunities while on the job.
• Work closely with our dispatch and sales teams to ensure timely scheduling and seamless follow-up on leads or job opportunities.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals while maintaining high standards of technical service.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 3+ years of Electrical Service experience
• 1+ years of proven success in selling direct to homeowners via in-home presentation
• Electrical License or able to obtain within 60 days
• Strong sales, customer service, and closing skills
• Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills
• Assertive and confident personality
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks accurately

• Ability to work outside and in extreme temperatures
• Must have a clean driving record.

Compensation & Hours

• Pay: Hourly + Commission
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
