Job summary

L & S Electric, Inc. is hiring a hands-on technician to support refurbishing and repairing rotating electrical equipment. You will read job cards, disassemble equipment, and perform inspections while using a range of test instruments in a field setting.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Able to provide basic hand tools needed for the position.
• Able to work overtime, including weekends, at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with other employees to complete general project needs.
• Refurbish and repair a variety of rotating electrical apparatus.
• Read job cards to determine job status and work to be performed.
• Disassemble incoming electrical apparatus.
• Perform and record incoming visual and electrical inspections.
• Safely operate and understand a variety of test equipment.
• Assist with an assembly of electrical apparatus under guidance of senior staff.
