Job summary

L&S Electric in Wisconsin is hiring for skilled technicians to refurbish and repair rotating electrical equipment. You will read job cards, disassemble gear, and perform inspections while using a variety of test equipment. The role includes team-based project work and training opportunities with senior staff.

Candidates should have basic hand tools, PPE, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and at client sites. EEO employer and safety-focused environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekdays and weekends.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads and overhead cranes.

Requirements:

• Able to provide basic hand tools needed for the position.
• Able to wear PPE require for position, as needed.
• Able to perform fine detail work with hands.
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Able to work for any employer in the United States.
• Able to work overtime as needed and in the field at client sites.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.

Preferred:

• Electrical and mechanical background.
• Occasional lifting of heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
• Extended periods of standing and/or bending.
