L & S Electric, Inc. is seeking a dependable team member to support electrical equipment refurbishment, testing, and assembly at client sites. You will read job cards, assist with disassembly, and help operate test equipment under supervision. English fluency and willingness to work overtime are required.

Ideal candidates have rigging and forklift experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, and provide basic hand tools. We offer comprehensive benefits and a pathway to growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking of English.
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends and at client sites.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads and operating overhead cranes.
• Forklift experience.
• Must provide basic hand tools and PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to complete general project needs.
• Refurbish and repair rotating electrical apparatus.
• Read job cards to determine status and tasks.
• Disassemble incoming electrical equipment.
• Perform and record inspections (visual and electrical).
• Safely operate various test equipment.
• Assist with assembly under guidance of senior craftsperson.
• Receive additional training with higher level staff.
