Job summary

L&S Electric in the United States is seeking a skilled technician to support refurbishment and repair of rotating electrical apparatus. You will read job cards, disassemble equipment, inspect components, and operate test equipment on site at client locations.

The role requires basic hand tools, English fluency, and willingness to work overtime, including weekends, in the field. Training with senior staff and safety-focused mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be willing to work overtime and travel to client sites.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.

Requirements:

• Able to provide basic hand tools needed for the position.
• Able to wear PPE require for position, as needed.
• Able to perform fine detail work with hands.
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Able to work for any employer in the United States.
• Able to work overtime as needed and in the field at client sites.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
• Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.

Preferred:

• Electrical and mechanical background.
• Occasional lifting of heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
• Extended periods of standing and/or bending.
