Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking an Engineering Technician to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair protective relaying equipment and electrical devices mounted on panels in factory, production, or pre-commissioned settings.

You will use test equipment, interpret schematics, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance while supporting continuous improvement and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience testing electromechanical relays, instruments and control devices
• Associates degree in electrical/electronic technology or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance tests on equipment using test gear (multimeters, relay test sets, power supplies)
• Assist with tests at production facility and customer sites
• Interpret electrical/electronic and mechanical schematics
• Inspect products for safety, efficiency and quality
• Create and file testing documentation and templates for relays and IEDs
• Support continual process improvements and customer satisfaction
