Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Senior Relay Engineer to join the Relay & Power Systems team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will design electrical protective relay schemes and relay/control panels for utility and industrial applications, with developmental opportunities.

In this role you will lead small projects, create construction drawings, develop BOMs, prepare technical proposals, and oversee testing of protection and control schemes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relay and engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience with protection and control drawings and configuration documents.
• Occasional travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Create construction package drawings from customer specs (relay single lines/3 lines, schematics, layouts).
• Develop the Bill of Materials for projects.
• Develop technical proposals including cost estimates; may involve site visits.
• Develop/modify control house general arrangements.
