Job summary

Baer Manufacturing is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Specialist to oversee QA for electrical products and components in a union environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 5–10 years of Electrical Construction experience.
• Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance in the electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on electrical systems and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
• Analyze products and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with design, ACP and production teams to address quality issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, product condition, and quality assurance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Alert the production team if the product needs to be re-built or sent back to the production line for re-work.
• Work closely with Production Managers and Logistics making sure the best quality product is approved and delivered to site for install.
