Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Inspector to enforce the QC program on electrical and mechanical assemblies, ensuring safety and contractual compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, reading blueprints, documenting results, and coordinating with the project team. The role requires an Associate degree and at least 4 years in electrical work, with a path to Journeyman license within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Technical Discipline (may be substituted for quality related experience).
• At least 4 years hands-on experience in the electrical industry.
• Ability to obtain a state Journeyman License within 6 months of hire.
• Experience reading and interpreting contractual requirements, drawings, BIM models, NEC codes, and standards.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Read blueprints, specifications, and quality plans; document results.
• Coordinate with QA and project management on non-conformances.
• Perform Receiving, First Article, In-Process, and Final inspections on assemblies.
• Identify non-conforming items and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in ORM meetings and share quality improvement tips weekly.
• Assist in training operators and root-cause analyses.
