Job summary

Champion Home Builders seeks a Quality - Electrical Tester to survey, test, and inspect electrical installs for conformance with HUD and Texas requirements. You will complete testing reports and documentation, and ensure repairs meet quality standards with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role involves inspecting each defect, coordinating with electricians, following check sheets, and performing due diligence to prevent further damage while upholding OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, and one year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret standard electrical documentation and HUD/Texas rules.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and performing physical tasks as needed.
• Familiarity with safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Utilize check sheet and inspect for electrical defects.
• Follow-up on repairs continuously.
• Personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify repairs and protect against additional damage.
• Coordinate with electrical personnel to resolve problems related to defects.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed per OSHA and company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
