Job summary

Champion Home Builders is seeking a Quality - Electrical Tester to survey, test and inspect electrical installations for conformance with HUD and Texas State requirements. You will complete testing reports and documentation, and ensure any irregularities or defects are addressed.

Essential duties include using check sheets to inspect electrical defects, following up on repairs, and coordinating with electrical personnel to resolve issues while upholding OSHA safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and one year related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize check sheet and inspect for electrical defects.
• Follow-up on repairs continuously.
• Personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been made and that no other damage happens during the repair process.
• Coordinates with electrical personnel to effectively resolve problems related to electrical defects.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
