Job summary

Champion Home Builders is seeking a Quality - Electrical Tester to survey, test, and inspect electrical installations for conformance with HUD and Texas State guidelines. You will complete testing reports and documentation to ensure high-quality workmanship.

The role requires inspecting defects, coordinating with electricians, and upholding safety policies in line with OSHA and company standards. Prior related experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED as a baseline.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; one year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read and follow check sheets and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize check sheet and inspect electrical defects.
• Follow up on repairs continuously.
• Personally inspect each item on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been made and that no additional damage occurred during the repair.
• Coordinate with electrical personnel to resolve issues related to electrical defects.
• Ensure safety policies and OSHA guidelines are followed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize chcek sheet and inspect for electrical defects.
• Follow-up on repairs continuously.
• Personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been made and that no other damage heappens during the repair process.
• Coordinates with electrical personnel to effectively resolve problems related to electrical defects.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Education And/or Experience

High School degree or G.E.D. and one year related experience and/or training is preferred.
