Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction QA/QC Manager – Electrical to lead the project-specific QA/QC program for electrical scopes on mission-critical data center builds in Childress, TX. You will oversee ITPs, testing, FATs/SATs, and ensure NEC/IEEE/NFPA/IEC compliance while coordinating with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.

This role emphasizes leadership of QA/QC inspectors, documentation accuracy, and safety, with rotation shifts and on-site presence at projects, plus long-term

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of electrical QA/QC experience in mission-critical or data center construction.
• Proficiency with NEC and electrical codes; ability to read electrical drawings and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC program for electrical scopes on the project.
• Develop, review, and enforce ITPs, checklists, and quality procedures.
• Oversee installation/testing of critical electrical systems (MV/LV, switchgear, UPS, PDU).
• Witness FATs/SATs and document test results; manage punch lists.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and provide regular quality reports.
• Supervise QA/QC inspectors and coordinate with subcontractors.
