Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction QA/QC Lead - Electrical in Childress, TX to lead inspections and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards on data center projects. The role focuses on managing risk, coordinating with project teams, and driving high-quality electrical installations.

Ideal candidates will hold a Journeyman electrician license, 5+ years in electrical project management or QA, and OSHA-30 certification (to be obtained within 6 months if not current).

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 5 years in electrical project management/supervision and/or QA program management.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, electrical technology, and project processes.
• OSHA-30 certification required (if not current, must be obtained within 6 months).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to identify and resolve issues early.
• MS Office proficiency and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in early project planning and determine installation techniques.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure conformance with specifications and safety requirements.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and installations for regulatory compliance.
• Document inspection results and provide non-conformance resolutions and corrective actions.
• Provide QA/QC feedback for each project phase and assist with risk management strategies.
• Disseminate QA/QC policies and clarify procedures for workers and subcontractors.
• Train and oversee subcontractor compliance as needed.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by supervision.
