Job summary

Prime Controls is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector in Boise, Idaho to perform quality control inspections of field-installed instrumentation and control panels in accordance with NEC, UL 508A & 698A, and site drawings.

You will review wiring, test PLCs and instrumentation, document findings, and prepare clear corrective actions to prevent recurrence, while supporting a safe, compliant project environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections of field-installed instrumentation and control panels.
• Inspect wiring, testing of DC/AC up to 480V.
• Prepare written reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and UL 508A/698A standards.
• Communicate findings and train team on improvements.
