Job summary

Prime Controls, L.P. is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector to perform quality control inspections of field installed instrumentation and control panels in accordance with NEC, UL 508A and 698A standards, and site drawings.

You will work with PLCs and instrumentation, develop corrective actions, and prepare written reports. The role requires an associate degree in electrical technology and at least 2 years of related experience, with a full-time schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• AA degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and testing of field-installed instrumentation and control panels per NEC/UL 508A & 698A standards and site drawings.
• Verify wiring, wiring of panels, and instrument loops (4-20mA) and troubleshoot as needed.
• Document non-conformances and implement corrective actions; prepare written reports.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to team; assist in training material.
• Analyze quality results and provide insights to prevent recurrence of issues.
