Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is hiring for an electrical testing role focused on protective relays and metering systems. You will test, program, and maintain relays in transmission and distribution environments, ensuring safety and reliability. Strong interpretation of schematics and adherence to industry standards are essential.

The position requires travel to industrial, data center, and utility sites. Certifications such as NETA/NICET are preferred, with 4+ years of relevant electrical experience

Qualifications

• Requires NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with test equipment for protective relaying, metering, and HV equipment.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA standards.
• Willingness to travel and work in industrial/datacenter environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and program protective relays and metering systems.
• Perform testing and maintenance to ensure reliability of transmission/distribution equipment.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and substation drawings.
• Coordinate testing with other departments and engineers.
• Maintain detailed test reports and compliance documentation.
