Job summary

Grid Careers, LLC seeks an experienced Project Manager for electrical testing and maintenance in Seattle. You will oversee projects across data centers, utilities, and commercial facilities, coordinating customers, field technicians and vendors to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget results.

The role requires knowledge of electrical testing/maintenance, NETA standards, and strong communication with technicians, engineers and facility personnel. Occasional travel in the Pacific Northwest is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning or field-service projects.
• Knowledge of low-, medium- and high-voltage equipment.
• Familiarity with NETA testing standards and electrical safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating electrical field technicians, engineers or subcontractors.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, labor planning and cost control.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, technical specs and project scopes.
• Excellent communication, organization and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects and changing priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project-management software.
• NETA certification or electrical field experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical testing, maintenance and commissioning projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, field technicians, test equipment, materials, subcontractors and customer requirements.
• Review project scopes, purchase orders, drawings and specifications.
• Staff projects with qualified technicians and monitor staffing.
• Track costs, labor hours, materials and change orders for profitability.
• Maintain regular communication with customers on schedule and progress.
• Ensure safety and compliance with procedures and standards.
• Coordinate NETA acceptance and maintenance testing services.
• Identify changes in scope and coordinate change orders.
• Close out field reports and ensure accuracy.
