Job summary

Astute's Team partners with a fast-growing construction client in renewables to recruit an Electrical Project Manager. You will own a portfolio of solar, BESS, EV charging and substation projects, plan and programme work, and take commercial and technical responsibility with subcontractor management.

The role requires strong PM skills, travel to sites, and experience with HV works. A pension and company vehicle with fuel card are provided; salary is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Must have 18th Edition electrical qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent with demonstrable experience.
• Experience on solar, BESS, EV charging, substations and HV works.
• Strong commercial project management and contractual awareness.
• Chartership is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of works from start to finish (solar, BESS, EV, substations).
• Plan and programme of works.
• Take commercial and technical responsibility for your projects.
• Manage subcontractors and negotiations.
• Provide regular CVR reporting.
• Support from planning through handover.
