A respected engineering consultancy in Texas is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Licensed Electrical P.E. to lead electrical design and project delivery. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and overseeing projects from concept through construction while mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, possess a Texas P.E. license, and have strong experience in electrical design within MEP environments. Opportunities for client interaction and project visibility are key aspects of this position.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas.
Experience delivering electrical design within MEP or building systems environments.
Strong understanding of NEC and applicable electrical codes.
Experience producing and reviewing construction documents.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
Responsibilities
Leading electrical system design for various building projects.
Managing electrical project scope, schedules, and technical deliverables.
Coordinating designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
Acting as the primary electrical contact for clients and contractors.
Supporting projects through construction, including site visits and technical reviews.
