Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking an Electrical Project Manager (P.E.) in Austin, Texas, for a hybrid, full-time role within a multidisciplinary MEP design team. You will lead electrical design efforts, coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines, and provide project-level technical direction to designers and engineers.

The position requires a Texas PE license and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with 6+ years of experience (Master’s degree with 5+ years considered).

Qualifications

• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license REQUIRED.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year university REQUIRED.
• 6+ years of engineering work experience; Master’s degree may be considered with 5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly with leadership and other departments.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of engineering work experience preferred (7–9+ with Master’s).
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Electrical system commissioning experience or familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on diverse MEP projects with cross-discipline coordination.
• Develop electrical plans, specifications, and cost estimates meeting codes and standards.
• Provide project leadership; manage scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams; ensure QA/QC.
