D2B Groups LLC is seeking a detail-driven Project Manager / Estimator to support field operations and preconstruction on commercial and industrial projects in the Chicago metro area. You will manage awarded projects, coordinate with foremen, superintendents, and owner teams, and perform takeoffs and estimates.

Responsibilities include tracking costs, coordinating materials, and preparing clarifications during bids.

Formación

• 1–3 years in electrical construction (office or field) or an EET / CM degree with relevant internships.
• Solid blueprint reading; able to interpret one-lines, risers, specs, and submittals.
• Working knowledge of NEC basics, typical commercial / multi-tenant residential assemblies, and common gear.
• Strong Microsoft skills; organized, proactive communicator; comfortable on active jobsites.
• Valid driver's license; ability to visit sites across the metro area.

Responsabilidades

• Support project managers with submittals, RFIs, change events, procurement, and look-ahead schedules.
• Track costs, labor hours, and productivity; maintain buyout and PO logs.
• Coordinate material deliveries, prefab requests, rentals, and tool needs with the field.
• Assist with meeting minutes, action items, and closeout (O&Ms, as-builts, training).
• Promote safety and code compliance; support site walks and punch lists with field foremen.
