Job summary

D2B Groups is seeking a detail-driven Project Manager / Estimator to support field operations and preconstruction on commercial, industrial, and data center projects in the metro area.

You will manage awarded projects, perform electrical takeoffs, build estimates, and coordinate with foremen, superintendents, and owner teams. This role blends office work with site visits and offers a clear growth path.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in electrical construction (office or field).
• Solid blueprint reading; interpret one-lines, risers, specs, and submittals.
• Working knowledge of NEC basics and commercial/multi-tenant assemblies.
• Strong Microsoft skills; organized, proactive communicator; able to visit sites across the metro area.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with submittals, RFIs, change events, procurement, and look-ahead schedules.
• Track costs, labor hours, and productivity; maintain buyout and PO logs.
• Coordinate material deliveries, prefab requests, rentals, and tool needs with the field.
• Assist with meeting minutes, action items, and closeout (O&Ms, as-builts, training).
• Promote safety and code compliance; support site walks and punch lists with field foremen.
