Job summary

Dubak Electrical Group LLC is seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager for our Greater Chicago area team. You will assist with the full project lifecycle from business development and estimating through execution and closeout, partnering with the Project Manager to meet scope, cost, and schedule goals while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical field experience with industrial/commercial electrical projects is preferred.
• Knowledge in electrical systems + general knowledge of mechanical, civil, and structural work.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
• Ability to assist with management of multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Self-motivated with leadership and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Project Manager to manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, change management, and cost tracking.
• Collaborate to oversee subcontractors, labor resources, and field supervision.
• Coordinate multi-trade installation methods (electrical, mechanical, civil, structural).
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Maintain strong client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver technical documents, proposals, and presentations.
• Help to provide value engineering analysis to optimize cost and efficiency.
