Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare accurate electrical estimates for projects such as distribution centers, automotive manufacturing facilities, and data centers, with relocation assistance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, has 10+ years of heavy industrial estimation experience, and is proficient in Accubid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of electrical estimation experience in heavy industrial construction (distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, data centers).
• Estimated projects worth around $50M+.
• Proficiency in Accubid software and other estimation tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical trade scope and bid depository regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical drawings and specifications to provide cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Understand and apply bid depository regulations to ensure compliant bids.
• Use Accubid to develop and maintain project cost controls.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather details for estimates.
• Review cost discrepancies and variances for management review.
• Participate in bid/proposal meetings and present estimates to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to team efforts by performing related tasks as needed.
