Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator for its Northern California operations. The role combines preconstruction estimating with active project execution, focusing on commercial electrical construction in the Bay Area.

The successful candidate will prepare budgets, review specs and drawings, perform takeoffs, and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, and engineers. A strong background in education, healthcare, and public works is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating and/or managing commercial electrical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, distribution, lighting, and low-voltage infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid electrical estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit vendor/subcontractor pricing.
• Develop project budgets, schedules, manpower forecasts, and procurement plans.
• Manage commercial electrical projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Lead client meetings and maintain relationships with owners, GCs, architects, and engineers.
• Coordinate with field leadership to ensure project execution.
