Job summary

Loenbro Mission Critical is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support our data-center and mission-critical electrical projects. You will collaborate with the project management team to ensure schedules are met, track changes, and oversee subcontractors while assisting with budgets and SOV preparation.

This role requires substantial on-site work, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years project management in electrical construction.
• Data center/mission-critical experience preferred.
• Proficient with PM software (MS 365, Accubid, Bluebeam).
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-focused; NFPA 70E or OSHA certifications preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors and on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Close support for the senior project management team.
• Develop project management techniques to meet schedule requirements.
• Initiate and track change orders; liaise with field team and owner for scope changes.
• Provide close support and oversight of third-tier subcontractors.
• Assist in creating and enforcing the project budget.
• Assist in creating and submitting the Schedule of Values (SOV).
• Oversee Project Engineers handling RFIs, Submittals, takeoffs, and material tracking.
• Oversee project closeout documentation to the owner.
• Close support of the Quality Control team throughout construction and commissioning.
• Other duties as assigned.
