Job summary

Miller Electric is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in a client-facing role that emphasizes strong relationships, project planning, and on-site oversight. You will work directly with the Director and VP, manage proposals, budgets, and schedules, and mentor junior staff.

In this role you will gain hands-on experience, benefit from ongoing technical training, and contribute to innovative electrical solutions across projects. A strong communicator with PMP or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical contracting project management experience.
• Understanding of electrical installations.
• Strong ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Billing and collections knowledge.
• OSHA 30-hour certification within the first year.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure policies and procedures are followed as specified.
• Generate estimates and develop project plans, timelines, and resources.
• Oversee on-site supervision to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Interface with customers to align expectations throughout the project.
• Coordinate activities of company personnel and subcontractors.
• Generate billings and lead collections for projects.
• Visit project sites to monitor progress and forecast needs.
• Procure materials and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and staff.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior personnel.
