Job summary

Miller Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager to join a team delivering electrical, security, and AV systems. You will report to the Director and VP in a client-facing role, building relationships both in and outside the office while growing through hands-on project work and technical training.

Responsibilities include planning, estimating, coordinating staff and subcontractors, and ensuring on-time procurement, budget adherence, and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Electrical contracting project management experience.
• Understanding of electrical installations.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft 365.
• Experience with itemized estimating.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must understand billing and collections.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• 30 Hour OSHA Certification within the first year.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
• Visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project from start to finish with planning, budget, and staffing.
• Interface with client to validate expectations throughout project.
• Coordinate personnel and subcontractors on assigned projects.
• Generate billings and manage collections.
• Procure materials and ensure timely deliveries to site.
• Provide feedback and mentoring to team members.
