Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Assistant Electrical Superintendent to coordinate electricians and crews on solar sites, working with site staff at all levels. The role requires strong leadership and a proactive, confidential approach to problem-solving.

Travel is 100% across the United States; this is not a remote position. A background in commercial/industrial construction and experience with self-perform projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in construction-related field.
• Strong teamwork, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of construction law and business practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical scope of solar site projects.
• Assist in development of schedules and look-ahead plans.
• Ensure resources and support for work teams.
• Supervise electrical team and subcontractors to ensure quality.
• Lead meetings and coordinate between field engineers and contractors.
• Provide mentorship and training to craftsmen.
• Promote teamwork, inclusivity and safety on site.
