Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical teams on solar project sites. You will coordinate work within the electrical scope, partner with the Electrical Superintendent on material sizing and site planning, and help develop project schedules with look-ahead updates.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architecture Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Detail orientation sufficient to manage multiple project tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/web tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work projects within the electrical scope of the solar site.
• Partner with Electrical Superintendent in material sizing and site utilization planning.
• Develop project schedules and 3-week look-ahead updates.
• Ensure crews have necessary resources and support.
• Supervise and ensure quality control of work, including subcontractors.
