Job summary

Bergelectric is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the project team from planning through closeout on electrical projects. You will assist the Project Manager with procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and documentation, while coordinating with owners, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role requires 2+ years of electrical construction experience and a BS in a related field. You will leverage tools like Bluebeam, Accubid, and BOS to manage submittals, change orders, and billing

Qualifications

• 2+ years electrical construction experience in commercial/institutional projects.
• BS in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience preparing take-offs and estimates for change orders.
• Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, ChangeOrder and Accubid; BOS experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering studies, change orders, estimating and issues with engineers.
• Prepare submittals and requests for information (RFI).
• Work with owners/clients on specifications during planning stages.
• Coordinate with regional managers on project status.
• Track job costs and predict monthly revenue streams.
• Manage QA/QC on projects and review subcontractor payment applications.
• Issue change orders to subcontractors and approve invoices.
• Maintain project documents using Bluebeam Studio and SharePoint.
