Job summary

Bergelectric in Phoenix is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a Project Manager and project team through startup to closeout on electrical construction projects. This role emphasizes planning, procurement, budgeting, reporting, and project controls to drive on-time delivery and profitability.

You will assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, cost tracking, and coordination with owners, engineers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical project experience with construction cost management.
• Advanced ability to read plans and specs.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, NECA codes and industry practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam and estimation tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and change orders with engineers.
• Track job costs and monthly revenue projections.
• Assist with procurement, planning, and project startup activities.
• Manage QA/QC processes and safety requirements on site.
• Prepare and review billing, payments, and close-out documents.
• Maintain project documentation in Bluebeam Studio and SharePoint.
