Cumming Group is seeking an Electrical Project Inspector to join our Facilities Management team in Texas. The role focuses on quality control and inspection of electrical systems across construction projects, with emphasis on healthcare environments.

You will collaborate with the Construction Contracts Manager, operations, owner, and contractors to ensure compliance with contract documents. Preferred candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years' ICC code experience, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, Electrical Engineering, Surveying, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with all ICC codes, specifically electrical; 2+ years’ experience with state ICC codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects materials, installation, and layout of work on the project site and evaluates its acceptability.
• Determines and notifies contractor of unacceptable material or work with the CCM approval.
• Serves as liaison between CCM, operations, Owner, and contractor during construction.
• Performs or supervises quality control testing.
• Maintains thorough and accurate records documenting the entire process of the project.
• Verifies quantities for contractors monthly pay estimate.
