Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking an Architectural Project Inspector to support Facilities Management projects, ensuring materials and installations comply with contract documents. Healthcare construction experience is a must.

You will inspect sites, coordinate with the CCM, owners, and contractors, maintain records, verify quantities for monthly pay estimates, and support quality control testing. This is a full-time role offering growth within a diverse project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, surveying or related field preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with all ICC codes, specifically architectural.
• 2+ years’ experience with state ICC codes; healthcare construction experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Inspects materials, installation, and layout on site and evaluates acceptability.
• Notifies contractor of unacceptable work with CCM approval.
• Acts as liaison between CCM, operations, Owner and contractor during construction.
• Performs or supervises quality control testing.
• Maintains thorough records including daily logs and progress meeting updates.
• Verifies quantities for contractors’ monthly pay estimates.
• Attendance at work during normal business hours.
