Job summary

City Light & Power, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, design, and execution of electrical power system upgrade projects, including substations, distribution, microgrids, and SCADA systems.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and clients to develop deliverables and ensure safety, schedule, and budget while meeting applicable standards. The role requires a BS in engineering and 5+ years of experience in power system project engineering, with substation or distribution

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in electrical power system project engineering roles.
• Experience with substation and/or distribution design/upgrade projects.
• Familiarity with power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM) and industry codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design of substations, distribution, energy/microgrid, and SCADA projects, including study/planning, design development, procurement support, construction support, testing and commissioning.
