Harlan Electric Company is seeking a Project Engineer in Syracuse, NY to manage data for project readiness and oversee subcontractor PO processing and payments for transmission, distribution, and substation projects. The role emphasizes data coordination, QA of documents, and cross-functional collaboration within MYR Group's electrical construction portfolio.

Ideal candidates will have experience in document control, reading contract documents, and strong MS Office skills.

Competenze

• Experience in document control or construction project support.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and file management systems.
• Collaborative team player with proactive communication.
• Knowledge of accounting software and construction processes preferred.

Mansioni

• Enter and set up purchase orders on behalf of project managers.
• Own process from start through finish; ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Apply E1 expertise and MYR compliance to processes.
• Review subcontractor addenda and contract documents for accuracy.
• Validate all documentation is current and compliant before project start.
• Support schedule development and milestone tracking for pre-construction activities.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients on subcontractor compliance.
• Utilize client systems for document submission and tracking.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of all purchase orders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of subcontractor and PO processes.
• Document retention and subcontractor support.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
