Job summary

Procter & Gamble's Albany Plant is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the Site Engineering team. This on-site role focuses on capital projects affecting facilities, utilities, and site initiatives, with a Monday–Friday schedule and full ownership of diverse projects.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree, or relevant electrical experience (including military service).
• Demonstrated portfolio and project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of NEC (National Electric Code).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects as a mid-level individual contributor.
• Manage strategic projects across site, region, and business unit stakeholders.
• Create front-end technical base plans.
• Partner with central project delivery team based in Cincinnati.
• Prepare project timelines including key milestones and provide transparency.
• Manage risks and define resolution strategies.
• Develop new processes and routines for increased visibility and accountability.
• Report on project progress to manager and leadership.
• Develop deep understanding of site electrical systems including PLCs, drives, operator interfaces, and network architectures.
• Lead troubleshooting, defect handling, and loss elimination efforts for the site.
