Job summary

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree, or relevant electrical experience (including military service).
  • Demonstrated portfolio and project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of NEC (National Electric Code).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects as a mid-level individual contributor.
  • Manage strategic projects across site, region, and business unit stakeholders.
  • Create front-end technical base plans.
  • Partner with central project delivery team based in Cincinnati.
  • Prepare project timelines including key milestones and provide transparency.
  • Manage risks and define resolution strategies.
  • Develop new processes and routines for increased visibility and accountability.
  • Report on project progress to manager and leadership.
  • Develop deep understanding of site electrical systems including PLCs, drives, operator interfaces, and network architectures.
  • Lead troubleshooting, defect handling, and loss elimination efforts for the site.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Site Engineering team. The role focuses on capital projects that influence facilities, construction, utilities, and overall site initiatives. The schedule is on-site, Monday through Friday. Successful candidates will manage and execute projects ranging from self-owned small efforts to full ownership of larger projects.

Scope of Projects
  • Project budgets range from $100K to $10 million.
  • Provide high level engagement, visibility, and ownership.
  • Leverage project management and technical experience to deliver exceptional results.
Site Facilities & Warehouse Automation
  • Facilities expansion and upgrades
  • Warehouse construction and logistics automation (AGV expansion, automated racking systems, material handling initiatives)
  • Driving cost savings and sustainability initiatives for site utilities
  • Capital procurement
Role Responsibilities

Job Qualifications
Required
  • 0-5 years of relevant project engineering experience.
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree, or relevant electrical experience (including military service).
  • Demonstrated portfolio and project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Financial and budget management experience.
  • Multi-functional team leadership experience.
  • Technical mastery, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of NEC (National Electric Code).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Understanding of basic electrical safety (energy isolation, protective devices, etc.).
Preferred
  • Prior manufacturing industry experience.
  • Project manager certifications such as CAPM, PMP.
  • Prior electrical engineering experience with facilities distribution systems, PLCs, drives, operator interfaces, and network architectures.
  • Electrical license or previous electrical training & qualifications.
Compensation

$85,000.00 - $122,200.00 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits.
