Job summary

Ferrovial Webber Energy is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our growing EPC team. You will support renewable energy projects, including substations, wind farms, and PV plants, delivering safe, on-time installations.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will supervise field teams, read drawings, manage subcontractors, and help control costs while upholding safety and quality standards. A 3-year track record and a degree are required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in energy infrastructure projects, including field supervision or project support.
• Experience interpreting and applying relevant codes (NEC, IEEE, NEMA, OSHA) is preferred.
• Proficiency with reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field personnel and subcontractors to ensure safety and quality.
• Oversee site preparation, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical support, interpret drawings, and resolve field issues related to equipment.
• Monitor schedules, set production targets, and track progress for assigned tasks.
• Forecast and control costs, maintain accurate records of work status.
• Conduct field inspections to verify quality and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with project management, suppliers, and stakeholders to address challenges.
• Manage material and equipment needs and minimize waste.
